CPI (ML) to candidate LS poll

CPI(ML) has fielded C J Jagadish as the candidate from Udupi-Chikmagalur constituency for the parliament election.

In a press release, CPI(ML) District Secretary G Suresh has said that the party will field its candidates in eight constituencies in the State including in Mysore, Chamarajnagar, Shimoga, Koppal, Bellary and Bangalore North. The successive governments have failed to address the problems faced by the people. Elections are held only to give power to corporate houses. This has not helped commonman, he said.

“The elected representatives who have been elected from this constituency have acted as the representatives of landlords. They have not participated in any discussions on labourers and farmers. People will support CPI(ML) for its continuous fight for the welfare of the people.

We will fight the election by raising funds from people on March 20 and 21. Nomination will be filed on March on 24. Several committees have been constituted for election campaign,” he said.
