Gowda to launch work of Bahrain Kannada Bhavan

Former prime minister and JD(S) leader H D Deve Gowda has embarked on a five-day trip of the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain.

Gowda left for Dubai along with his wife Chennamma and JD(S) national secretary Danish Ali. Gowda will lay the foundation stone for Kannada Bhavan of the Kannada Sangha in Bahrain on Tuesday. Gowda will also take a break from politics and will be going on a sight-seeing trip of Dubai and Bahrain, according to an itinerary released by his office. Gowda will be back in Bengaluru on Thursday.
