Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship Anant Kumar Hegde on Wednesday criticised Congress president Rahul as a ‘hybrid breed’.

At a programme organised to induct some local leaders into BJP at Danaganahalli in the taluk, he said, “Rahul Gandhi’s father is a Muslim, the mother is Christian but he is a Brahmin? How is this possible? Such a hybrid breed is not available in any laboratory in the world. This is available only in the Congress Laboratory of our country”. Hegde said it seems Rahul thinks that Rafale (aircraft) is a three-wheel cycle. He does not what is meant by a country. Also, he has no knowledge of religion. There is a limit to say lies”.

The minister termed the Mahagathbandhan (grand alliance), being forged against BJP, a suicide squad. “All these people are going to commit suicide by May-end. There will be a mass political suicide programme in the name of ‘Mahagathbandhan’. Let the programme be held smoothly. All of them will go to homes after the election. Mostly, Rahul Gandhi will go to Columbia,” he predicted.
