JD(S) MLC Syed Mudeer Aga dies of heart attack

JD(S) MLC Syed Mudeer Aga died of heart attack at a private hospital in Bengaluru in the wee hours of Saturday.

He was aged 67. Aga had suffered a heart attack at his Bengaluru residence on Friday night. He was shifted to Fortis Hospital, where he failed to respond to treatment and died at 1.30 am on Saturday.

Aga, a native of Ramanagaram, was elected to Upper House in June 2012. His tenure was to end on this June 17.

Syed Mudeer Aga is survived by wife and three daughters. His family is involved in cocoon and real estate businesses in Ramanagaram district.

JD(S) national president H D Deve Gowda paid his last respects to Aga at the latter's Ramanagaram residence.

The final rites of Aga were performed at his native on Saturday evening.
