Aid to flood victims

The Retired Government Employees’ Association of the district has requested its employees to extend their help to the flood victims.

The organisation is collecting funds. As a first step, retired Deputy Tahsildar V Subbamma has donated Rs 5,000. The funds collected will be given to the Chief Minister’s Releif Fund.

President of the Association K M Venkataswamy has stated in a press release that the organisation will go to the houses of retired state government employees and collect funds.
