JOIN USTwo to three trains arrive at the railway station simultaneously. But there is only one ticket counter resulting in great rush. Requests to open an additional counter have fallen on deaf ears.
The station does not have even the announcement facility regarding the departure and arrival timings.
The buildings at the railway station have been demolished two years back in the pretext of renovation but the works have not started yet. The passengers have to spend their time literally amidst garbages, irrespective of seasons.
“The railways has totally neglected the interest of the passengers. It is least bothered to provide good services. There is not even a canteen. The toilets are hardly available for the public due to lack of cleaning. Irresponsibility is quite visible everywhere here,” complained a passenger.
