The second wicket pair of D B Prasanth and Sri Ram batted resolutely and scored runs at ease and were involved in a 213-run partnership for the second wicket which brought them back into the game.<br /><br />After the fall of opener D B Prasanth, three wickets fell quickly and at close of play D Shivakumar (32 not out, 1X4, 1X6) and Ajay Kumar (1 not out) were at the crease.
