<p>H G Lakkapa Gowda (83), former vice chancellor of Hampi Kannada University, passed away due to age related ailments at his residence in Mysuru on Monday.</p>.<p>He leaves behind wife Kamalamma, a son and a daughter. The last rites will be conducted at the burial ground in Kuvempunagar at 1 pm on Tuesday, according to family sources.</p>
