Responding to a query posed by media persons at its Vijaynagar plot on Tuesday, V-C Hanumanna Nayaka Dore said three places are under consideration right now and will be decided upon, soon. “We are ready to start classes as and when we get space that suits our needs. But, that should not be a make-shift arrangement,” he said.
Puzzled by the stance of the forest department which was claiming the Varakodu land as its own, even as RTC was in the name of Music varsity, Dore said the department seemed to have misplaced some facts before raising an objection to Music varsity being set up at that place,” he added. Trouble brewed at Aloka campus, after the V-C explored chances of having a campus there for music and performing arts, with forest department staking claim on that space too.
