V Marappa from Moorandahalli in Kolar taluk has bagged three gold medals at the recently held 18th International Seniors Sports Meet, at Konkin City in Thailand.
He has bagged gold medals for creating a new record by jumping 1.40 metres high in high jump event, and has also for won in the long jump and tribble jump events.
Secretary of the District Athletics Association K Jayadev has congratulated him over the victories, in a press release issued here on Saturday.
