A man was arrested for allegedly stopping police personnel from discharging their duty and also for abusing them, at Banakal checkpost in Mudigere taluk.
The arrested is Duggappa Gowda. When the police stopped the car in which Gowda was travelling to Banakal from Mudigere, he allegedly threatened the police of dire consequences. A case has been registered at Banakal police station.
