<p class="bodytext">Admissions are open in Coorg Institute of Hospitality Science for the year 2019-20. Children affected by the natural calamity will be offered free education, said institute manager K Nirmala Somaiah.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Nirmala Somaiah told reporters on Friday that the institute established by Coorg Education Trust will soon begin admissions for second PUC, ITI and diploma courses.</p>.<p class="bodytext">The institute with an intake of 30 students is presently located at AMC building near General Thimayya Circle. The Hotel Management Course is of three-year duration. Professional skills, creativity and building capabilities will be the highlights of the course.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Organisation president Ratan Uttaiah said that the students may now seek admission to the Hotel Management Course in Kodagu itself. The classes will be shifted to a new building of Coorg Education Trust soon, he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Soldiers of the Indian Army and those who have scored more than 75% in PUC will be offered special concession in the course, he added.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Institution secretary Dinesh Cariappa was present.</p>
