National Youth Parliament from January 17

Nehru Yuva Kendra will organise a National Youth Parliament competition in each district and will send the winners to the state and national-level competitions.

The first round of the district-level competition will be held at St Agnes College on January 17. The nodal officer is Dr Uday Kumar B, who can be contacted on 9448061961.

The competition will be held at Dr G Shankar Government First Grade College in Udupi on January 18. The nodal officer is Prof Prakash, to be contacted on 948001570.

Another round will be held at Kaveri degree college in Gonikoppa on January 19. Vanitha Kumar M N is the nodal officer, to be contacted on 9880504208.

The competition will be held in two categories. On January 17, 18 and 19, the participants have to speak for two to three minutes in Kannada, English or Hindi on the selected topic.

The video clips of their speeches is to be uploaded on the website mygov.in by January 19.

The participants should be in the age group of 18 to 25 years. The final round of the competition will be held at St Agnes College on January 28.
