‘Shakti Can Create 2019’ camp from April 11

The poster on the summer camp – Shakthi Can Create 2019 – was released by Principal Vidya Kamath G and others in Mangaluru.

Shakthi Residential School will organise ‘Shakthi Can Create 2019’, a 20-day-long summer camp from April 11 to 30.

Principal Vidya Kamath G told reporters that the camp will be organised from 8 am to 5 pm.

“The camp will include Yoga, drawing, making crafts, cartoon making, preparing face masks, foam art, clay modelling, Warli at, Kavi art, preparing greeting card, kites, rangoli, Veda Ganita, mimicry, human resource training, leadership training, training in handwriting, paper cutting, embossing, folk dance and songs, shadow play and magic,” she explained.

Resource persons to train the participants will include P N Acharya Manipal, Venki Palimar, Permude Mohan Kumar, John Chandran, Dinesh Holla, Veena Srinivas, Sudheer Kavoor, Poornesh P, Ratnavathi J Baikadi, Sachitha Nandagopal, Gopalakrishna Delampady, Ramesh Kalmadi, Premanath Marne, Mime Ramdas, Arun Kumar Kulai, Pattabhirama Sullia, Rachana Kamath, Muralidhar Kamath, Nadasri, A G Sadashiva, Mahesh Rao, Surekha Kavathoory, Rajesh Srivana, and M S Hebbar.

She said that the camp will be organised in three categories in Classes 1 to 4, Classes 5 to 7 and Classes 8 to 10.
