Moderate rains in Shivamogga

Moderate rains lashed some parts of the district on Monday.

Shivamogga, Bhadravathi, Thirthahalli and some parts of Hosanagar taluks received moderate rains. So, there has been no significant rise in the water levels in various dams in the district.

The water level in Linganamakki dam remained at 1,769.90 feet against the maximum 1,819 feet. The inflow of water was only 63.11 cusecs as catchment area of the dam received rainfall of 9.20mm.
