The Mysuru district administration is all set to celebrate the 103rd birth anniversary of former chief minister D Devaraj Urs on August 20.
Several events such as debate and essay writing have been organised for school students.
In a meeting, Additional Deputy Commissioner (ADC) T Yogeesha directed officials to make necessary preparations. He also asked officials of all departments to participate in the main event scheduled at Kalamandira.
The ADC asked people of the city and volunteers of various organisations to take part in the event and requested suggestions from them to make the event a grand success.
