Speaking to <span class="italic">DH</span>, Range Forest Officer Devaraju, said, “Incidents of leopard sighting have been reported near BEML factory in Hebbal often. As the department has placed a cage to trap the leopard, there is no need for the residents to panic,” he said.</p>.<p class="bodytext">Meanwhile, a picture of a leopard near a motorbike has gone viral on the social media. While a few claim that the picture of the leopard was taken at Chamundi Hill, others claim that it was near Chorla Ghat in Goa or Sindhudurg district in Maharashtra.</p>
