Water Resources Minister D K Shivakumar on Tuesday said that the IT and the ED probes against him were politically motivated and he was ready to face them.
“All cases against me are politically motivated and I will face them,” he told reporters here. Shivakumar, who was here to meet Union Culture Minister Mahesh Sharma to seek grants to the state from the Union Ministry of Culture, said that there was no dispute between the JD(S) and the Congress over appointments to boards and corporations.
He also said that the state government will hold the Hampi Cultural festival and that the Opposition parties need not have to organise it by raising funds from the public.
Answering a question on why himself and Yeddyurappa were in the same flight from Bengaluru to Delhi, he said it was a just co-incidence.
