Safari and tourism activities at Bandipur resumed on Friday.
Tourism activities at Bandipur Tiger Reserve were suspended on February 23, following massive fire which destroyed around 12,000 acres of forest. However, an officer said, the safari area was not much affected.
According to the Forest department officials, tourists flow was normal and a few animals like tiger and leopards were sighted. The fire is completely doused across the reserve and the situation is returning to normal.
