JOIN USFrom Hubli the Express will leave for Miraj. The Science Express will travel to 57 locations and cover 18,000 km in the fourth phase. At every station it will halt for three to four days.
Out of total 16 AC coaches, 12 AC coaches are exhibition coaches. Most of the exhibits have been developed by MPS, Germany while some indigenous exhibits have been displayed besides brief sketches of great Indian scientists whose contribution is unparalleled.
Big Bang, nanocosmos, building blocks of life, from 'gene to organism,' architecture of the mind, the world of senses, technologies of the future and climate change are some of the exhibits at the Science express.
The Express was flagged off by Prime Minister Dr Manmohan Singh at New Delhi Railway Station on October 30, 2007. The Express has been showcased in over 200 locations across India since then.
