ULB quota orders: HC stays action till Sep 20

The Dharwad bench of the High Court on Monday ordered the government not to take any action till September 20 on the original notification and the amended notification issued by it on the reservations for top posts in urban local bodies.

The government had, on September 3, issued the first notification and the second one on September 6, making changes in reservation for some of the ULBs. Members of some of the ULBs had filed a writ petition in the court, questioning the move of the government.
