Google rolls out February 2025 update for Pixel phones with critical security fixes

The new Android update also resolves the unstable connectivity with Bluetooth devices such as earphones with the Pixel phones.

Google has released the February 2025 Android update to all eligible Pixel phones worldwide.

The new update (build number: AP4A.250205.002) brings bug fixes and also critical security patches to fix vulnerabilities in Pixel phones.

It fixes the issue with audio output in Android Auto under certain conditions. It also resolves the unstable connectivity with Bluetooth devices such as earphones.

Further, the February 2025 update plugs several security loopholes classified as 'Information Disclosure' in Pixel phones. It means the vulnerability would have allowed hackers to remotely execute codes on targeted phones and steal sensitive information.

Pixel 6, 6 Pro, Pixel 6a, Pixel 7, 7 Pro, 7a, Pixel 8, 8 Pro, 8a, Pixel Fold, Pixel Tablet, Pixel 9, 9 Pro, 9 Pro XL, and the Pixel 9 Pro Fold
