Samsung unveils Galaxy A06 5G in India

Samsung Galaxy A06 comes in three colours--black, gray, and light green with prices starting at Rs 10,499.

After launching the Galaxy F06 earlier this month, Samsung on Wednesday (February 19) launched another budget 5G phone Galaxy A06 (2025) in India.

The latest Samsung mobile features a 6.7 HD+ display with a 20:9 aspect ratio. It features a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, type-C port and IP54 dust-and-water splash-resistant rating.

It is powered by MediaTek D6300 processor with 4GB/6GB RAM, 64GB/128GB storage and a 5,000mAh battery with 25 fast charging.

Also, it runs on Android 15-based OneUI 7.0 and is one of the first Samsung budget phones guaranteed to get four years of Android OS and security updates. This way, the device will get new features and also security patches for protection against emerging cyber threats up to 2029.

As far as the photography hardware is concerned, it houses da ual-camera module-- 50MP +2MP sensors with LED flash on the back. And, it features an 8MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

The new Samsung phone will be up against Redmi 14C, Motorola Moto G35, and CMG Phone 1, among others.
