“Asol Poribortan' (Real change) means to increase investment and to set up industries in Bengal,” said Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his address at a public rally at Kolkata's Brigade Parade Ground on March 7. “I have come here to make you believe in 'Asol Poribortan'. Belief in Bengal’s development, in change of Bengal's situation, in increasing investment and industries in Bengal, and in the reconstruction of Bengal,” said PM Modi.
