NEP envisioned increase in youth’s employability by training students in schools: Dharmendra Pradhan

Union Education and Skill Development Minister Dharmendra Pradhan on August 18, said that by training pupils in schools, NEP hopes to boost the employability of nation's youth.

“NEP has envisioned the increase in employability of nation's youth by training students in schools and giving importance to Indian languages. Benefits of this scheme will be seen in a few years; the scheme will then become successful,” he said.

The government of India announced the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020, which recommends quality improvement of the system of education through the development of a National Curriculum Framework (NCF).
