197 cases of mucormycosis reported in Delhi: Satyendar Jain

Despite a decline in the number of Covid-19 cases in the national capital, Delhi has been witnessing an increase in cases of mucormycosis (popularly known as black fungus). So far, Delhi has reported 197 cases of black fungus, informed Health Minister Satyendar Jain on May 21 while addressing a press conference. Jain also said, in the last 24 hours Delhi has registered 3,231 new cases of Covid-19 and the positivity rate of national capital now stands at 5.5%.
