Joshimath crisis: Tilting electric poles trigger panic among locals in sinking town

Adding further risk to its already existing problems, Joshimath is witnessing a tilt in many of its electric poles. The tilting of electric poles is only an addition to the problems of the subsiding town. Several families in Joshimath have already been evacuated citing its unsafe nature due to land subsidence. The state government has also prohibited the entry in many areas as they have been declared as unsafe.
