Spokesperson of Bhartiya Kisan Union (BKU) questioned Prime Minister Modi’s promise of doubling farmers’ income.
While talking to ANI on November 24, farmer leader Tikait said, “PM Modi has said that farmers' income will be doubled from January 1, so we will ask how it will be doubled. Farmers will win when they get the price of their crops”.
According to Tikait, the protests will only end when all the matters are resolved, one such issue being MSP.
“Farmers have suffered crop loss and who will take the responsibility of MSP? Will carry a sure guarantee card at MSP,” he added.
