JOIN USTulu Movie—‘Yera Uller Ge’ under the banner of Bolli Movies will be released across Tulu Nadu on September 21.
Briefing reporters here on Wednesday, Director Devadas Kapikad said that it is a comedy horror. The movie will be released in Mangaluru, Udupi, Karkala, Moodbidri, Puttur, Belthangady, Manipal, Kasargod, Sullia, Surathkal. There are plans to release the movie in the theatres in Madikeri, Mudigere, Sakleshpur, Koppa, Baindoor, Bengaluru, Mumbai, Mysuru, in the Gulf and other countries in the future.
The cast includes Arjun Kapikad, Rashmitha Changappa, Devadas Kapikad, Saikrishna Kudla, Sandeep Shetty, Sunil Nelligudde, Mimicry Sharan, Thimmappa Kulal, Harish Sujatha, Anoop Sagar, Aradhya Shetty, Gopinath Bhat, Arjun Kaje and so on.
The screenplay is written by Devadas Kapikad. The background music is by Kadri Manikanth and the cinematography is by Aroor Sudhakar Shetty. The movie is produced by Rajesh Kudla.
Speaking on the clash of dates for the release of the movie, he said, “As soon as I had received censor certification, I had approached the screening committee of Tulu movie. The Tulu Movie Producers Association has set a rule of two week cooling period between each release of Tulu movie. Accordingly, I was given the date to release the movie. Unfortunately, another Tulu movie is also set to release on the same date. Such a clash should not happen in the future. The producers and the association have backed me as I was legally correct.”
