Coronavirus news highlights: India's Covid-19 death toll crosses 90,000-markIndia's Covid-19 tally crosses the 56-lakh mark with a spike of 83,347 new cases and 1,085 deaths in the last 24 hours. The Union Health Ministry placed the total number of cases at 56,87,940 and the death toll at 90,892. The Ministry said that 46,38,688 people have so far recovered from the infection. The country has also conducted over 6.6 crore tests and approximately 9.5 lakh samples were tested yesterday.
