The District and Sessions Court on Monday sanctioned bail to three suspects in connection with cattle trader Hussainabba's death case.
The bail application of the remaining eight suspects has been quashed by the court.
Those who were given bail are Mohan Kotwal and Prasad Kondadi while Tukaram was given anticipatory bail. All the three were charged under IPC Section 201.
Meanwhile, the CID officials, who visited Udupi on Monday, took over the case from the police for investigation.
A team, led by CID DySP Chandrashekar and other officials, visited Perdur where Hussainabba was found dead and collected details.
