<p>Goods worth lakhs of rupees were reduced to ashes in a fire which broke out at a paint factory in Mayapuri of west Delhi of Saturday, police said.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Nobody was injured in the blaze which was reported from B-Block of Mayapuri Industrial Area Phase 1 around 2:50 pm.<br /><br />Fire department officials suspect a short-circuit to be the cause of the blaze.<br />The fire brigade officials took around five hours to douse the flames.<br /><br />“Twenty-five fire tenders were pressed into service. Thankfully, no person was injured,” an official said.<br /><br />He added the blaze was first noticed by the paint factory workers.<br />“They initially tried to douse the flames themselves, but informed us when they failed. We told the fire department and firefighters reached the scene in minutes,” the police official said.<br /><br />Police are ascertaining the value of goods lost in the fire. <br /><br /></p>
