<p>In a freak accident, a 21-year-old selfie-obsessed man in Mexico died after he shot himself in the head while trying to click a picture with a gun.<br /><br /></p>.<p>Oscar Otero Aguilar, a vet from Mexico City, was posing with a handgun for his Facebook page.<br /><br />However, his search for an impressive profile picture turned tragic when he shot himself in the head and died on the way to hospital.<br /><br />The gun was loaded and went off as he tried to take the picture, 'The Huffington Post' reported.<br /><br />Police said he had been messing around with the gun and taking pictures when it accidentally went off.<br /><br />"I heard a gunshot, and then I heard somebody screaming and realised somebody had been hurt. I called the police straight away and when they arrived they found that he was still alive," Aguilar's neighbour said.<br /><br />Aguilar's Facebook page is filled with selfies, with pictures of himself in his car, posing with women and other images, the report said.</p>
