In an effort to hard sell the Gujarat model of development, Delhi BJP has named the September 29 rally of Narendra Modi as Vikas Rally (rally of development).

Aimed at making it a ‘memorable’ and the ‘best in the country’, the party is using all means of technology to make the rally a success.

The party is working on showing the development work done in Gujarat in various spheres on the giant screens installed at the venue to the people attending the rally.
As per the plans, party sources said, around two dozen giant screens at the venue would play video footage of the development work done in Gujarat, in sync with the hour-long speech of Modi.

“People have heard about the development work done in Gujarat, but many have not visited the state. Preparations are being made that we can play video of the work done when our star campaigner will be speaking on a particular topic during his hour-long speech,” said a BJP leader.

“For example, when Narendra Modi would be speaking about the infrastructure development in Ahmedabad, we can play the footage of the Ahmedabad BRT which has been a huge success unlike Delhi BRT. Similarly, if he speaks over environment issue and Yamuna, we can play the video of work done to develop the Sabarmati riverfront,” the leader explained.

Meanwhile, as a measure to build the momentum for the rally, the Delhi BJP on Tuesday unveiled a countdown clock at the party office. Party leaders said around two dozen similar countdown clocks, with a picture of Modi on a background of Red Fort, have been installed across the city asking the city residents to attend the rally.

To ensure that the speeches are heard perfectly, party leaders said, a state-of-the-art line array sound system is being used. These would ensure that every word spoken from the stage is delivered in perfectly audible form to those attending the rally.
