JNU students continue strike

With no response from the administration of Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), the members of JNU students' union have decided to continue their indefinite hunger strike which was started on Wednesday.

The students have made several demands regarding existing student related issues in the university and claim that no concrete answers have been given by the authorities, which led to the strike.

“Nobody from the administration met us on Thursday. The vice chancellor is out of town and expected to return by March 16,” said Ravi Prakash, general secretary, JNUSU.
