No respite from cold, despite clear sky

Delhi continued to shiver in the cold with the minimum temperature recorded at 3.4 degree celsius, a notch higher than 2.9 degrees recorded on Sunday. However, weather conditions were normal compared to last week.

The Met Department said that the weather will be better on Tuesday, compared to the last three days. “The minimum temperature will hover around four degrees but it can drop further. Maximum will be around 21 degrees.

It will be mainly clear during the day,” said an official from the Met Department. He added that the morning will witness shallow fog and nights will be misty.

Many trains including Ujjain Dehradun Express, Allahabad Haridwar Express, Kalindi Express, Kalka Mail were cancelled due to fog on Monday.
