Operation Kaveri: First batch of stranded Indians leaves conflict-hit Sudan

The first batch of stranded Indians stranded in Sudan have departed the conflict-torn country in the first phase of 'Operation Kaveri', the Ministry of External Affairs said. Reportedly, 278 Indians boarded the ship which departed from Port Sudan for the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah.
