They would also be coordinating with the Club to secure specialist sub-contract tenders for the new stadium. <br /><br />The Construction Index reports that the new stadium will cost around 400 million GBP. Mace’s chief executive, Mark Reynolds, believes that the project is of utmost importance as it is a flagship development. He also believes that this will act as the area’s catalyst for regeneration. The stadium is expected to have a seating capacity of 61,000 spectators. <br /><br />It will also lead to the development of 579 new apartments and a 180-room hotel alongside the stadium.
