The BJP district unit and Hindu Jagarana Vedike have extended their support to 'Janagraha convention,' organised by Vishwa Hindu Parishat (VHP) at Nehru Maidan here, on November 25.

BJP district unit president Sanjeeva Matandoor told mediapersons at the party office that BJP party workers from each booth would attend the Janagraha being organised to mount pressure on Central government to build Sri Rama Mandir (Temple) in Ayodhya. "In fact, the seers at a meeting held in New Delhi had decided to organise such Janagraha at each district headquarters."

Hindu Jagarana Vedike district president Kishore Kumar urged Centre to pass a bill in the Parliament on building Ram Mandir in Ayodhya.

He told mediapersons at Patrika Bhavan, on Thursday, that the Centre should stop dilly-dallying on building the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the birthplace of Lord Sri Ram.

Kumar also condemned the anti-Hindu attitude of Kerala government. Hindu Jagarana Vedike Dakshina Pranth Secretary Radhakrishna Adyantaya, district unit General Secretary Amit Gundalike and district secretary Subhash Padil were present on the occasion.
