[24]7 to hire more than 3,000 digital chat agents in Bengaluru, Hyderabad

California-headquartered customer experience software and services company [24]7 said it will hire more than 3,000 Digital Chat Agents (DCAs) in FY 2018 across its Bengaluru and Hyderabad delivery centres.

Commenting on the development, the back office service provider [24] 7 India and Americas Chief Delivery Officer Animesh Jain said consumers today want personalised, predictive and effortless customer experience.

“We offer the optimal combination of technology, developed at our Innovation Labs (iLabs) and talent to achieve this. In fact, [24]7 is making digital chat agent services key to the enterprises’ customer engagement strategy complemented well by [24]7’s virtual agent capabilities,” said Jain.

The decision of the company to hire comes at a time when recruitment process have been slowed down by IT services companies due to global churning and technological changes.

According to company officials, the hiring would be within an age group of 18 to 25 years and will be primarily solving to customer queries of various US-based companies. The company has a team of 7,000 employees in India.

[24]7 is servicing its clients using a combination of human chat agents and artificial intelligence-based tools to solve the problems of customers better.  The company’s technology platform assists the DCAs by offering the right context, suggesting the next best actions and automating back-end tasks.
