The Karnataka government said that land acquisition for starting industrial units in the State won't be a problem, even as it would like to preserve fertile land for agriculture and strive to make it more profitable, Chief Minister K Siddaramaiah said on Thursday.
“We will give full cooperation to business. We are willing to give land for industrial purpose, but it will be non-fertile land,” he said, in his address at the inaugural session of the 96th annual general meeting of trade body Federation of Karnataka Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FKCCI) here on Thursday.
