Sebi, in a circular, made it clear: “mutual funds shall henceforth disclose on their websites, on the AMFI website as well as in their annual reports, details of investor complaints received by them from all sources.” The latest move of Sebi is aimed at improving transparency in the ‘grievance redressal mechanism’.

Further, details should be vetted and signed off by the trustees of the concerned mutual fund, it added.  Accordingly, all Asset Management Companies will have to put up the data for the bygone fiscal by June 30 and for each new fiscal within two month of the close of the year.
