Realme unveils Narzo 30 Pro 5G series, Buds Air 2 in India

Emerging smartphone-maker Realme unveiled a new line of Narzo 30 series along with Buds Air 2 True Wireless Earphones (TWE) in India.

The Realme Narzo 30 series comes in two variants-- Narzo 30 Pro 5G and Narzo 30A. 

The Narzo Pro 5G comes with a 6.5-inch full HD+ (2400  × 1080p) LCD screen with 120Hz refresh rate, side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and inside, it packs 7nm class MediaTek Dimensity 800U (MT6873V) ccta Core CPU backed by Android 10-based realme UI, 6GB/8GB LPDDR4x RAM, 64GB/128GB (UFS 2.1) storage( expandable memory via microSD), 5,000mAh battery with  USB Type-C 30W fast Dart Charge, and  triple slots (nano SIM 1 + nano SIM 2 + microSD).

It also boasts a triple camera module- main 48MP( f/1.8) backed by 8MP 119-degree ultra-wide-angle lens (f/2.3) and 2MP 4cm macro sensor (f/2.4) with LED flash on the back. On the front, it features 16MP (f/2.1) sensor.

It comes in two configurations-- 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage-- for Rs 16,999 and Rs 19,999, respectively. This makes Realme Narzo Pro 5G the most affordable 5G phone in India.

Whenever the 5G infrastructure gets ready in the country, users will be able to experience up 10GBps internet speed and clear video and audio quality. Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G will go on sale on, & select mainline channels from March 4 onwards.

Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G will be competing with Redmi Note 9 Pro, Moto G 5G, and Samsung Galaxy M31 series, among others.

On the other hand, Realme Narzo 30A comes with 6.5-inch HD+ (1600 x 720p) mini-drop display, up to 570 nits brightness, fingerprint sensor on the back, a 12nm class MediaTek Helio G85 octa-core CPU, 1000MHz ARM Mali-G52 2EEMC2 GPU, 3GB/4GB LPDDR4x RAM, 32GB/64GB eMMC 5.1 storage (expandable up to 256GB via microSD), a 6,000mAh battery with  USB Type-C 18W fast charge, and  triple slots (nano SIM 1 + nano SIM 2 + microSD).

It features dual-camera module-- primary 13MP (f/2.2) backed 2MP  B&W Portrait camera (f/2.4) with LED flash, 1080p 30fps video recording capability and a 8MP front-facing camera (f/2.0).

It comes in two models--  3GB RAM + 32GB storage and 4GB RAM + 64GB storage-- for Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999, respectively. It will go on sale on Flipkart and Realme e-store from March 5 onwards.

Realme Narzo 30A will be against Redmi 9, Tecno, Motorola Moto E7 Power, Infinix mobiles, and Samsung Galax A12 among others.

Realme Buds Air 2 TWS comes with Active Noise Cancellation of up to 25dB and features dual microphones supported by the ENC noise canceling algorithm to reduce the surrounding noise during a call.

It also comes with a new generation of intelligent noise reduction chip - the R2 Chip- and promises good performance, better energy efficiency, more stable connections, and higher calls quality.

It supports the latest Bluetooth 5.2 and comes with a 10mm Diamond-class Hi-Fi Driver. It also boasts a new Bass Boost + bass enhancement solution that brings its users a bass that sounds like it’s live, the company claims. Users will be able to turn up the bass for live recordings, electronic music, rock, and anything else they fancy.

Also, Realme Buds Air 2 supports AAC High-Quality Sound and a large battery capacity that provides the users with a massive 25hrs total battery life (charge 100% in one hour). Other features include Open-up Auto Connection and Google Fast Pair, Smart Wear Detection, Intelligent Touch Controls, and IPX5 Water Resistance. 

It comes in two colours- Closer Black and Closer White-- for 3,299 and will be available for purchase on, & mainline channels from March 2 onwards.
