CCB busts two prostitution rackets

City Crime Branch (CCB) police busted two prostitution rackets, arrested eight people and rescued four women, in two separate cases in Mysuru.

In the first raid on a house in Railway Layout (Vijayanagar police limits), CCB arrested three people (including one woman) and rescued two women.

Geetha, the accused, belongs to Mavnahalli in Mysuru taluk. She rented a house and ran a brothel in it. The police arrested two others --Shivaraj and Krishnanaik, in this connection.

In a different case, CCB police arrested five people involved in a prostitution racket at Kanakadasa Nagar, in Kuvempunagar.
