26-year-old loses life in accident at NICE road

A 26-year-old biker lost his life after a speeding vehicle collided into his bike on NICE Road near Kengeri on Wednesday night.

The deceased, who has been identified as Raghavendra, ran an automobile business.

According to the police Raghavendra, a resident of Anjanapura, was returning home after closing his showroom in Hesaraghatta. While passing NICE Road on Birohalli Bridge around 10.15 pm a speeding vehicle collided into his bike killing him on the spot. He was dragged for a distance before getting crushed against the parapet wall. The night patrolling staff alerted Kengeri Traffic police who rushed to the spot and shifted his body to RR Hospital.

Police said that there were no eye witnesses at the spot. They suspect that a heavy vehicle rammed into his bike and are verifying the CCTV footage at the toll gate.
