The Karnataka High Court directed the state government to submit a progress report in the case of missing techie Ajitabh in the next 10 days. The court has asked for the report to be submitted with some development in the investigation.

Ajitabh, a software professional has been missing from the city since December 18.

Justice Aravind Kumar was hearing a petition filed by Ashok Kumar Sinha, father of Ajitabh.

The state submitted that they are doing everything possible including traditional and modern investigation to get some leads in the case.

However, the court observed that the efforts made by the police are not enough and more needs to be done. It also suggested submitting developments or sensitive information with regard to any findings in a sealed cover that can’t be submitted to the open court. The government’s counsel informed the court that they have some leads which they are following up on. The court adjourned the hearing of the case.
