Hemanth Kumar Kammar, the managing director of Focus TV who was arrested by the Central Crime Branch (CCB) for demanding Rs 50 lakhs from BJP MLA Arvind Limbavali, had another FIR filed against him on Tuesday.

Maregowda, the personal assistant of Health Minister Shivanand Patil, filed a complaint with the Yeshwantpur police, alleging that Kammar had blackmailed the politician with some CDs and demanded lakhs of rupees.

Maregowda further alleged that Kammar claimed that he had a CD of the minister demanding bribes for the Health department transfers. Kammar reportedly claimed that the CDs were sent to him by someone and if the minister paid him Rs 50 lakh, he would make sure he was not in trouble.

When Patil refused to pay up, Kammar telecast the audio, the complaint said.
