A team headed by N Satheesh Kumar, Joint Commissioner of Police (crime), conducted a surprise raid on Thursday at the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison and seized mobile phones, SIM cards, pen drives and huge cash.
The raid lasted for four hours from 6.30 pm to 10.30 pm involving about 200 police officers, including three DCPs and the joint commissioner.
A senior police officer said that they had seized, SIM cards, pipes to smoke ganja, pen drives, memory cards and cash.
