Citizens can buy Form 4 and Form 5 at all centres for Rs 5. Alternatively, they can download the form from BBMP website: bbmp.gov.in
A press release by the e-governance department says that citizens paying the tax at BangaloreOne centres should have paid the taxes for the year 2008-09 and 2009 -2010 before paying property tax for the year 2010-11.
Citizens have to submit the filled in application form and cheque or DD addressed to the BBMP Commissioner for paying the 2010-11 property tax. Cash or credit cards will not be accepted. No service charges need to be paid for availing this facility.
Citizens should have the application number or property ID number of the property tax paid for the year 2008-09.
In case citizens visit the centres without the application form, they can ask the staff to download and print the application form from the BBMP portal and Rs 5 will be charged for this service.
