Close shave for six students as school auto rams bus

Six students sustained injuries when the autorickshaw in which they were travelling rammed into a private bus near Mudipu on the outskirts of the city on Saturday morning. The auto driver is also injured in the accident.

The auto was ferrying students from Ira village to Mudipu. The accident occurred when the auto driver failed to notice the B C Road-bound bus at a steep curve and rammed into it.

The injured students have been admitted to K S Hegde Hospital at Deralakatte.
